Children's Grant
The program is administered by Veteran College Grants, a nation’s designer and manager of grant and scholarship programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for this program is determined by the sole discretion of VCG, and eligible applications are reviewed by the Veteran College Grants selection committee. All decisions by the committee are considered final upon applying.
About the Grant
The Children's Grant was created by Veteran College Grants (VCG) to help veterans and their families overcome the financial barriers of higher education and trade school programs. It provides needs-based financial assistance exclusively to children of U.S. military veterans pursuing college or trade school education. At VCG, we believe no veteran or military family should have to put their educational goals on hold because of financial hardship. The Children’s Grant works with current military benefits and other aid, turning service and sacrifice into lifelong opportunities.
Awards
Recipients are selected primarily based on financial need, with additional consideration given to academic performance and leadership. Selections are made by Veteran College Grants, with all decisions considered final.
